The Christmas season here at St. Joseph’s Health here has begun once again.
COVID-19 has made the financial climate challenging for some this year. Along with hanging lights and tinsel come an opportunity to give to those in need.
The Spiritual and Religious Care Dept. is sponsoring an initiative on behalf of SJHC. We encourage anyone involved with the organization to consider giving to our community and staff.
This year we will be able to give in two different ways:
1. The Giving Tree will be in the Lobby. Once again, we are decorating the tree with tags you may take to purchase pantry item(s) and return to the boxes under the tree. The deadline to bring in your items is Thursday, December 15th, at noon, when we deliver them to the charities. This deadline will give the charities plenty of time to sort and give to the appropriate individuals and families before Christmas.
2. This Virtual Giving Tree on our website. You can give a financial donation – by designating which site you want to go to SJV, CCC or VSGV. The money gathered at each location will provide gift cards to some of our staff that require assistance.
