“Mom’s care by your staff was nothing short of fabulous. Mother referred to the Villa as her “home” and felt that “she was blessed” to be here.”
“My brothers and I and our extended family were daily visitors and were equally impressed with the quality of care, but more importantly with the quality of people, that your staff are.”
“We were always greeted with a smile and a friendly salutation by everyone from cleaners to the Administrator and everyone in between. We all agree that your staff are top notch.”
“Please accept our family’s profound gratitude for mother’s wonderful care.”
“Dear St. Joseph’s Villa,
I was visiting a friend the other day and want you to know how friendly all the staff were and how nice the facility looks.
“Our mother recently passed and we would like to thank St. Joseph’s for the care Mom received. The staff in Sunnyside who took care of mom were excellent, it takes a special person to go to work each day to care for others. They took care of Mom and gave us piece of mind knowing she was well looked after.
Mom talked about the care and compassion provided by the staff, they became a second family to her. It must be hard for staff when a resident moves on but they go forward and help someone new, not many people have a career which will help numerous people and their families.
We made a lot of friends in the home with staff and residents who will be missed.”
“Thank you for the wonderful tour and continuing the mission and values of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie so faithfully.
“Thank you for the tour and meeting we had at your facility. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to introduce me to what is, in my view, a stellar example of elder care in our community.
It is evident that the level of care that you, the dedicated board members and the staff at St. Joseph’s Health Centre believe in and provide is second to none.
I wish to extend my thanks, on behalf of our community, for the dedication and service that your organization provides.
All the best.”
I just wanted to let you know we lost our beloved Mary today. I would have like to speak on the phone but it’s hard to keep my emotions in check. I just wanted to tell you how touched I am by the care and compassion shown by all of the PSWs, RNs, RPNs and support staff. It was so emotional and their genuine care and love for my grandma was evident in each and every gesture. When we leave this world it is never easy but I would wish to have as many people like Mary had surrounding her last night when I leave caring for me like they did for her. I am so touched and I will speak to everyone and thank them again but I wanted you to know the special gift you have in these people and their ability and desire to connect and care for our loved ones. Amazing!
