Media Release – September 2018

St. Joseph’s Health Centre established an annual corporate bursary fund to support education for employees interested in pursuing their own continuing education opportunities.  The bursary is funded through proceeds from a portion of the monthly staff 50/50 draw.

St. Joseph’s Health Centre awards education bursaries to reimburse up to 100% of education costs, up to a maximum of $1,000 per year, incurred by regular full-time or regular part-time employees who choose to pursue:

  • Non-credit development opportunities including conferences, workshops and seminars, or
  • Credit courses or multi-course programs of an academic, professional or business nature.

This year’s recipient is Josée-Anne Asselin, PCA at Villa St. Gabriel Villa. Congratulations Josée-Anne!  Thank you for continuing your life-long learning efforts.
