Schuster Boyd McDonald’s Chip in for Charity Golf Tournament raises $35,000 for St. Joseph’s Foundation

Joe McDonald and Dan Boyd from Schuster Boyd McDonald and Robert Bertuzzi from Reliable Cleaning Services, present a cheque in the amount of $35,000 to Jo-Anne Palkovits, President and CEO of St. Joseph’s Health Centre.   These funds were raised at the Chip in for Charity Golf tournament sponsored by Schuster Boyd McDonald which took place on August 9th, 2018 at the Idylwylde Golf and Country Club. The monies will be placed towards the Cycling Without Age program at each St. Joseph’s Villa and Villa St. Gabriel Villa.  Cycling Without Age is an innovative program designed to enhance the lives of seniors by providing them with an opportunity to remain connected to and active in the community.

Funds raised by the St. Joseph’s Foundation of Sudbury help support St. Joseph’s Health Centre; a non-profit organization that provides services for some of the most vulnerable citizens within the Greater Sudbury Community.

St. Joseph’s Health Centre oversees the operation of the Village of Care Campus located on South Bay Road which includes St. Joseph’s Villa, a 128-bed longterm care home and room with potential growth. In addition, St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre, a 64-bed complex continuing care hospital, is co-located on this site.  St. Joseph’s Health Centre also operates Villa St. Gabriel Villa, a 128-bed long-term care home located in Chelmsford, Ontario.
