Linda Wilson PhotoLinda Wilson


Linda Wilson, Chair of the Board of Directors of St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre of Sudbury, has been a member of the Board since June 2011.  She is a past member of the Board of Directors of the St. Joseph’s Foundation of Sudbury and is a current a member of the Board of Regents at the University of Sudbury.  Prior to her retirement in 2010, she was the Director of Marketing and Institutional Relations at Cambrian College in Sudbury.

Paul Marleau

Vice Chair

Paul Marleau joined the Board of Directors in June 2015. He has held senior positions in Sudbury’s most prominent companies including Northern Cable Services Ltd.  Mr. Marleau was also the Chair of the Greater Sudbury Utilities Board of Directors.

Ehren Baldauf

Past Chair

Ehren is a Senior Human Resources Consultant and Partner with DiBrina Sure Group, a high-end knowledge based organization that focuses on individual and corporate financial and human resources management solutions and strategies.  Ehren is also the Vice President of Humaniqa.com, a national comprehensive web-based business solution that supports small and medium organizations in managing their human resources.  Ehren joined the Board in 2009 and is currently serving as the Chair of the Board.  When he’s not assisting organizations in tackling their complex HR challenges or volunteering in the community, Ehren spends time with his wife Jana and their two children.

Gloria Richer PhotoGloria Richer


Gloria Richer joined the Board of Directors for SJHC in September 2016. She recently retired from a long standing career in the healthcare system, which included aspects of client care, in long term care, acute care and critical care. She retired from her position of Clinical Manager of the CardioVascularThoracic ICU and SDU at the Memorial Site of the Sudbury Regional Hospital in 2008. She continued to work in healthcare with SJHC holding many positions for the organization during this time and ended her career as Site Administrator of SJV. The main focci of her career has been the provision of excellence in client services, development and promotion of staff and the enhancement of healthcare in the Sudbury area.

Patricia Cassidy


Patricia Cassidy has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2011. Ms. Cassidy is a lawyer in Sudbury who is now retired from the practice of law.  In 2001 she was sworn in as a Deputy Judge of Small Claims Court for the Northeast Region and was appointed as Vice-Chair of the Ontario Licence Appeal Tribunal in 2006. Ms. Cassidy is a Director on the International Board of Directors for Harmony Incorporated and a member of the finance committee for St. Patrick’s Parish in Sudbury. She is a past president of the Pastoral Institute of Northern Ontario, a former Director of the Sudbury Manitoulin Children’s Foundation as well as the Ontario Deputy Judges Association. She holds an Honours Bachelors degree in Social Work from Laurentian University, a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Saskatchewan and a Masters degree in Criminology from the University of Ottawa.

Ray Hunt is Chief Administrative Officer of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, where he is responsible for management of the resources, infrastructure and systems essential to the operations of the School. Prior, Mr. Hunt held leadership positions as CEO of the Espanola Regional Health Centre and in the Ministries of: Health and Long-Term Care, Municipal Affairs and Housing, Northern Development and Mines. Mr. Hunt is also currently a director with Health Force Ontario Marketing and Recruitment Agency.

Roxanne Gervais PhotoRoxanne Gervais


Roxanne Gervais is a Chartered Professional Accountant with Collin Barrow.  Ms. Gervais received her CA designation in 1994 and was admitted to partnership at Collins Barrow in 2010.  Ms. Gervais has been a member of the Board of Directors since June 2009.  She is also an active member of the St. Joseph Church and Vice Chair of the Sudbury Community Service Centre.

Guy Beaulieu


Graduated in 1990 from Laurentian University with a Bachelor in Commerce. Obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1992 and worked at Collins Barrow Chartered Accountants. In September 1993 started to work for businessman Gabe Belanger as Comptroller of several companies. Guy has worked with many small business owners during the years. He also has experience in the industrial and residential sector being involved in subdivision development and sales. In addition to managing lottery kiosks, was the owner of a family restaurant for over 10 years in Chelmsford.

André Durette


André Durette is a lawyer in Sudbury, employed at Cambrian College since 2001, currently serving as Director, Human Resources. He joined the St. Joseph Health Centre board in 2016.

Sr. Catherine Singbush

Sister of St. Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie Representative

Sister Catherine Singbush has been the Sister of St. Joseph’s of Sault Ste. Marie representative on the St. Joseph’s Health Centre Board of Directors since 2011. Born in Sudbury, Catherine Singbush ministered as an educator in Northern Ontario elementary and secondary schools.  She was a member of the leadership team of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie and Chaplain and the Medical Ethics Consultant in the Sudbury Hospitals.   Sr. Catherine is an active volunteer in the church, civic, and the  Inner City Home Food Bank.

Sister Mildred Connelly is a Sister of St. Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie representative on the Board of Directors. Sr. Mildred has held several leadership roles in education, health care and for the Congregation and continues to serve on a variety of Board and committees.

Sr. Sarah QuackenbushSr. Sarah Quackenbush

Catholic Health Sponsor of Ontario Representative

Sister Sarah Quackenbush is a graduate from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and a Masters in Health Administration and has worked as a physiotherapist, health administrator and as an educator with the Catholic Health Sponsors of Ontario. She has served on several healthcare boards and professional organizations in Ontario.

Denis O’Donnell

Bishop Representative

Rev. Mr. O’Donnell has been the Bishop’s representative on the St. Joseph’s Health Care Center Board of Directors since 2009. Denis is a Permanent Deacon of the Diocese of Sault St. Marie and has been active in ministry at St. Patrick’s Parish since 1987. Susan and Denis have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Mr. O’Donnell is a Professional Geoscientist and has worked in the geological and rock mechanics professions for 45 years.

Jo-Anne PalkovitsJo-Anne Palkovits

President and CEO

Jo-Anne Palkovits has been the President and CEO of St. Joseph’s Health Centre since 2003. In addition, she has been the CEO of St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre (opened in 2009) and the Administrator of St. Joseph’s Villa (opened in 2003) and Villa St. Gabriel Villa (opened in 2011) since their respective openings. Ms. Palkovits was instrumental in transitioning St. Joseph’s Health Centre from its acute care site on Paris St. to its new Village of Care on South Bay Rd. and in Chelmsford. By working with the Board of Directors a new vision was created to provide non-acute services to the Sudbury community including continuing care, long-term care and rehabilitative care in order to carry on the good works of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie and the healing mission of Jesus.

Ms. Palkovits is a Certified Health Care Executive and a graduate of Laurentian University with a Master of Arts in Human Development and a Bachelor of Science of nursing. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts, Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario. Ms. Palkovits is a strong supporter of our community and has served multiple years on the Boards of the Sudbury Community Foundation, United Way Fundraising Cabinet, ACCESS AIDs, NEON Lights representative on the Canadian College of Health Leaders Board and is currently a member of the Cambrian College Board of Directors.

Ray Ingriselli, Site Administrator, VSGVRay Ingriselli

Site Administrator

Ray has been working in Long Term Care since 1996. He has been with the organization since late 2010 and was part of the original team that opened Villa St. Gabriel Villa on March 28, 2011. Originally overseeing Environmental Services as the Environmental Services Manager, Ray has been Site Administrator since May 2014.
