(February 2017, Sudbury, ON) – Festive gatherings of residents, patients, family members and staff award recipients and nominees were held in the month of February to mark the annual Sisters of St. Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie Awards for Excellence.
The Awards for Excellence were presented to individuals chosen by their peers as examples of their commitment to living out the organization’s values of “Caring Beyond the Moment with Service, Integrity, Dignity and Excellence.” This year’s recipients are: Jennifer Gosselin, Social Worker (SJHC), Cyndi Cunningham, RPN (SJCCC), Hilary Grieve, Recreation Therapist (SJCCC), Vicki Guilbeault, Life Enrichment Assistant (SJV), Nicole Jarbeau, Registered Practical Nurse (SJV), Renee Lamoureux, Personal Care Assistant (SJV), Kristine Lapointe, Environmental Services Assistant (SJV), Shelby Barnes, Food Services Assistant (VSGV), Paulette Forget, Personal Care Assistant (VSGV), Maria-Luisa Obias, Environmental Services Assistant (VSGV) and Trevor Martel, Environmental Services Manager (VSGV). A special award was presented to Dr. David Sivers for his many years of dedicated service and loyalty to the organization.
